Love at Frost Sight?

I feel like I should come clean about my true feelings about winter at this point. Since I’ve grown up in the desert, I think it’s safe to say that I am actually not the biggest fan of winter. Sure, snow is lovely to look at, but I’m perfectly okay with enjoying it from the warmth of a cozy couch covered in a snuggly blanket with a hot beverage and a book.

That being said, I fully recognize the fact that there are people out there who enjoy the cold season and might look at the first snowfall as “Love at Frost Sight!”

So, for all you snow bunnies out there, I’ve designed this fun winter-themed free svg file to download for free and enjoy!

Ways to Use Free SVG File

Whether you’re decorating your home for the season, making thoughtful gifts, or simply crafting for fun, this SVG file can add a touch of frosty charm to almost anything. Here’s a list of ideas to spark your inspiration:

  • Mugs and Tumblers: Create your own seasonal drinkware with permanent vinyl.
  • Holiday Ornaments: Use the SVG to make ornaments from wood, acrylic, or paper.
  • Candles: Decorate jar candles with the design for a thoughtful, cozy gift.
  • Winter Welcome Basket: Include items like a mug, hot cocoa, and a tote bag featuring the SVG design.

Tips for Using “Love at Frost Sight” File

Whether you’re a seasoned Cricut user or just starting out, these tips will help you get the most out of your “Love At Frost Sight” SVG file and make your winter projects a breeze!

1. Choose the Right Materials

  • For home decor, consider adhesive vinyl for hard surfaces or heat transfer vinyl (HTV) for fabric projects. Although I absolutely love using HTV on wood!
  • Use cardstock or glitter paper for paper-based crafts like garlands or gift tags.
  • For mugs and tumblers, opt for permanent adhesive vinyl or Infusible Ink to ensure the design lasts through washing.

2. Optimize Your Machine Settings

  • Double-check your cutting settings based on the material you’re using (e.g., adjust pressure for thicker materials like glitter vinyl).
  • Perform a test cut before cutting the full design to ensure the settings are correct.

3. Prepare Your SVG File

  • Use design software like Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, or xTool Creative Space to upload and adjust the file.
  • Resize the design to fit your project. For example, scale it down for gift tags or up for a sweatshirt.
  • If the design includes intricate snowflakes or details, consider simplifying it for smaller projects.

4. Make Weeding Easier

  • Use a weeding tool to remove excess vinyl or paper cleanly.
  • Place the material on a lightbox or use a bright surface to make the cut lines more visible during weeding.

5. Apply the Design Like a Pro

  • For vinyl projects, use transfer tape to move the design onto your project surface. Make sure to smooth it down evenly to avoid air bubbles.
  • For HTV, preheat your fabric to remove moisture, then press the design with a heat press or iron at the recommended temperature and time.
  • Peel the transfer tape or carrier sheet slowly to ensure all parts of the design adhere properly.

6. Layer with Care

  • If your project involves layering multiple colors or materials, press each layer for a shorter time until the final press to avoid overheating the first layers.

DIY Lip Balm Holiday Gift https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/diy-lip-balm-holiday-gift/ https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/diy-lip-balm-holiday-gift/#respond Mon, 02 Dec 2024 17:42:58 +0000 https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/?p=22015 The holiday season is upon us and once again I’m trying to find the perfect small holiday gift for friends and co-workers. Something that won’t collect dust in the corner of their house but also doesn’t break my bank. That’s where this festive DIY lip balm gift comes in super handy! It’s inexpensive to make but so very handy to receive as a gift. Can anyone ever have too much lip balm? I’ve come up with two different designs below that can work for any holiday gift giving!

Pink card with "Noel" text in green and red. A silver ornament represents the "O." Scissors and silver tinsel are on a green background.

Supplies needed to make your own DIY lip balm gifts:

Hands holding glittery snowflake cutouts with more snowflake designs and crafting material in the background.

Lip Balm Snowflake Gift

We’ll start with the instructions to make the snowflake DIY lip balm gift. Begin by inserting the large snowflake die cut and a sheet of silver glitter paper into the die cut machine. Of course, you don’t have to use the glittered paper I went with but I highly suggest using a really thick cardstock so the paper holds it’s shape. Also, don’t forget to flip the paper to create a mirror shape so that the snowflake lines up perfectly when you glue it together.

Hands holding metallic snowflake cutouts on a white surface with scissors and a pink round object in the background.

Run one of the snowflakes through the Xyron Sticker Maker and then press the two snowflakes together, taking care to match the edges. Open the lip balm container, insert through the center of the snowflake, and then screw the lid on to close. You can gift just like this or add a piece of ribbon to one of the cutouts to hang!

Hands opening a pink, egg-shaped container with a yellow star-shaped balm inside, next to silver decorative piece and scissors.

Lip Balm Noel Gift

Next up is this cute Noel version! Begin by using a die cutting machine to cut the letters out of a variety of cardstock (or use your Cricut machine!). Use the sticker maker to adhere all the letters except the ornament to a piece of background cardstock. You can use the lip balm to make sure it’s all perfectly spaced apart. With all the letters in place, trace around the lip balm container to make the “o.”

Hands holding a pencil and Vaseline lip balm, working on a pink card with colorful letters spelling "Noel.

Trim the edges off the pink background sheet. Use this size to cut a white cardstock sheet to size. Trace and cut out the “o” shape. Use the sticker maker or any other adhesive to glue the pink “NOEL” sheet in place on the white card. Insert the lip balm container from behind and adhere the final ornament cut out on top.

A pink and white card displays the word "Noel" with a glittery ornament as the "O." A snowflake ornament with a pink center is on the right.

Your festive DIY lip balm gift is ready to give to that special person! Hope you enjoy making and giving these gifts!

My Life With Books

Books have had a place in my life for as long as I can remember. As a somewhat shy kid, they gave me places and adventures to escape to. I distinctly remember exploring the Chocolate Factory with Charlie while waiting for my sister’s volleyball practice to be done and when my parents were late to pick me up after school, it was no problem because I was busy riding sandworms in Dune.

Of course, as life progressed, I didn’t have as much time to devote to casual book reading. Whether it was college, young adulthood, or motherhood, there were years that I didn’t read much. Life’s responsibilities sometimes do that! Now that my kids are older, I’m finding my way back to books again and it feels like reconnecting with an old friend.

They teach us empathy, understanding, and kindness, which we could all use a little more of these days. This design is a reminder to put down the negativity and pick up a good book instead. It’s a message that means a lot to me, and I hope it speaks to you too!

A decorative sign reads "Home of a wicked witch, handsome devil, and their silly little monsters" with ornate black lettering on a white background.

I’m so excited to share my latest creation: the Halloween Family Sign Free SVG File. This design is made to bring Halloween vibes into your home, and I’ve even created a few different versions to match your unique family. Let’s dive into what’s included!

What’s Inside the Halloween Family Sign SVG?

The original design says, “Home of A Wicked Witch, Handsome Devil, and Their Silly Little Monsters.” But since every family is different, I’ve offered several alternative versions. You’ll find:

  • Single Child Option: Because sometimes, one little monster is more than enough!
  • Two Wicked Witches Option: Celebrate double the magic and charm.
  • Two Handsome Devils Option: Show off double the mischief!
  • No Monsters Option: For homes with spooky vibes without the little ones.

This variety lets you personalize your sign to reflect your family’s dynamics, making it much more than just a decoration. It’s a fun way to add a touch of your personality to your spooky space!

Tons of Creative Ways to Use This Design

One of the things I love most about the Halloween Family Sign Free SVG is how easy it is to use. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just getting started, this design is perfect for so many DIY Halloween projects. Here are a few ideas to get your creativity flowing:

  • Wall Art: Make a bold sign for your entryway, mantle, or porch using wood, canvas, or vinyl.
  • Pumpkin Art: Skip the carving and use vinyl cutouts to decorate your pumpkins—mess-free and totally unique!
  • Tote Bags: Customize a tote for trick-or-treating or create a reusable fall shopping bag for your farmers market hauls.
  • Window Clings: Create spooky window clings by cutting the design from vinyl or plastic sheets. Your windows will be Halloween-ready in no time!

No matter what kind of project you’re planning, this SVG gives you so many options to get crafty.

Tools You’ll Need for Cutting the SVG

Now, let’s talk tools! This free SVG is designed to work with both Cricut machines and laser cutters, making it an excellent choice for different types of crafting projects.

  • Cricut: If you’re a Cricut fan like me, you’ll love how easy it is to cut this design from paper or vinyl. It’s perfect for decals, signs, and even iron-on transfers for clothing or bags.
  • Creality Falcon2 Pro Laser Cutter: I highly recommend using a laser cutter for those who want to take their crafting to the next level. I tested this design on basswood using the Creality Falcon2 Pro, and the results were amazing!
A decorative wooden sign with ornate edges and engraved text that reads, "Home of a wicked witch, handsome devil, and their silly little monsters," placed on a Creality Falcon2 Pro machine.

Why I Love the Creality Falcon2 Pro

Since I’ve been using the Creality Falcon2 Pro, it’s quickly become one of my favorite tools for intricate projects. This high-precision laser engraver and cutter delivers incredible detail, and it really shines on this project.

I made the lines super delicate for the Halloween Family Sign to push the Falcon2 Pro’s precision. It passed the test with flying colors—the cuts on basswood were so clean and crisp, even with the tiny details!

A hand holds a delicate wooden cutout with a swirl design. In the background, a laser-cut sign with text and a craft machine are visible.

What I love most about this machine is its versatility. It works on a wide variety of materials, from wood and acrylic to leather and fabric, so it’s perfect if you like experimenting with different mediums. Whether you’re creating detailed cuts or engraving custom pieces, the Falcon2 Pro makes everything feel effortless.

If you’re a DIY enthusiast looking to invest in a high-quality laser cutter, this machine is an absolute game-changer. You can read more of my opinions about the Creality Falcon2 Pro in this post titled “A Beginner’s Guide to the Creality Falcon2 Pro.”

Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Halloween Family Sign SVG

To make sure you get the best results from your SVG, here’s a simple guide on how to create your own Halloween Family Sign:

  1. Download the Free SVG: Head to the Tried & True Creative Library to download this free svg file. You can use the password at the bottom of all my emails if you’re already a member. Not a member yet? Sign up below and I’ll get that right out to you!
  2. Get Your Materials Ready: Decide what material you’ll use—paper, vinyl, wood, or acrylic—and gather your tools. If you’re working with a laser cutter, I recommend using basswood or acrylic for a long-lasting, polished sign.
  3. Upload the SVG: For Cricut users, upload the file into Design Space. Laser cutter users can upload the file into your software of choice, like LightBurn.
  4. Resize and Adjust: Depending on your project, you may need to resize the design. Adjust it to fit your specific needs.
  5. Cut Your Design: Set your cutting machine to the correct settings for your chosen material, and let it do its thing!
  6. Add Color: If working with wood, spray paint the raised sections of the cutouts.
  7. Glue In Place: Use wood glue and a small silicon paintbrush to apply a thin layer of glue to the back of the painted cutouts.
  8. Embellishments: Add a ribbon and bow to hang from (optional).
  9. Assemble and Display: After cutting, assemble your project. Adhere vinyl to a pumpkin, or frame your wooden sign. Now you’re ready to show off your custom Halloween décor!

  • This file is extremely detailed! If you’re having trouble cutting the small pieces from vinyl, paper, or basswood, you may need to enlarge the project.
  • Highly recommend using a 16″ x 12″ if you’re using basswood. Thank goodness for the Falcon2 Pro’s large work area!
  • Consider using heat-transfer vinyl applied to a wood base if you don’t have a laser cutter.
  • Engraving the design first into the base piece of wood can make your job easier when gluing the pieces in place.

This Halloween Family Sign Free SVG is perfect for adding a fun, personalized touch to your Halloween decorations. With multiple versions to fit different families and so many ways to use the design, the creative possibilities are endless. Whether you’re using a Cricut or a laser cutter like the Creality Falcon2 Pro, you’ll have a blast bringing this project to life.

Make a Halloween Pumpkin Wreath with Dollar Store Supplies! https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/make-a-halloween-pumpkin-wreath-with-dollar-store-supplies/ https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/make-a-halloween-pumpkin-wreath-with-dollar-store-supplies/#respond Mon, 09 Sep 2024 23:20:58 +0000 https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/?p=10295 Get ready for a budget-friendly fall craft with our Dollar Store Halloween Pumpkin Wreath tutorial! This easy and fun DIY project uses simple supplies you can find at your local dollar store, making it perfect for adding a touch of autumn to your home without breaking the bank. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just getting started, this pumpkin wreath is a great way to celebrate the season with a handmade touch. Let’s dive into the steps and create your own charming fall decor!

Halloween-Pumpkin-Wreath-6

Making Halloween wreaths from dollar store supplies is my absolute favorite craft! I love how fun and affordable it is to turn simple items into spooky, festive decor. Plus, it’s so satisfying to see how creative I can get each year, mixing and matching different pieces to create something unique. It’s the perfect way to add a little Halloween magic to my home without breaking the bank!

Here are some other Halloween Pumpkin Wreaths I’ve made from dollar store supplies:

Halloween Pumpkin Wreath

Materials:

Halloween-Pumpkin-Wreath-1

Step One. I found these foam pumpkins at Dollar Tree the other day, and while they’re a bit bright to my taste, they’re a perfect base for a few coats of glitter spray paint! After the paint has dried, string together on a long strip of wire in approximately the same spot on each pumpkin.

Halloween-Pumpkin-Wreath-2

Step Two. Notice how this tutorial doesn’t use a wreath form? It’s unnecessary when you use a strong enough wire to keep its shape! Just form a circle, twist it, and tie the ends together to make your wreath. Easy, right?! I like making wreaths with this method because you can adjust the number of pumpkins you use to make them as big or as small as your door needs.

Halloween-Pumpkin-Wreath-3

Step Three. Once your wreath shape is formed, use hot glue on the back to keep the pumpkins from rotating on the wire. You’re almost there.

Halloween-Pumpkin-Wreath-4

Step Four. Add a large decorative or a simple modern bow, depending on the look you want. I love how minimal yet very Halloween-y this black/white ribbon looked with the glitter pumpkins. Halloween and glam? Does it get any better?!

Halloween-Pumpkin-Wreath-7

I hope this tutorial inspires you to make your Halloween wreath with dollar-store finds! It’s a fun and easy way to get into the spooky spirit without spending much. Whether you stick to something traditional or put your own twist on it, you’ll have a wreath that’s totally your own. Happy crafting, and enjoy getting your home ready for Halloween!

How to Make a Modern Dollar Store Halloween Wreath

The first thing you’ll want to do is gather your supplies. Depending on the size of the wreath you select, you may not need as many hands as I did, or you may need more. It’s time to make your wreath!

  1. Plan out how many skeleton hands you’ll need to fill in the wreath and then glue them in place with a glue gun.
  2. Continue adding skeleton hands until they’re all in place.
  3. Apply your desired color of spray paint. I went with gold metallic, but you have tons of options!
  4. Glue a 12″ section of decorative ribbon to the back of the wreath. I used a white and black ribbon but there are tons of options!
  5. Hang your wreath from the ribbon and enjoy!

Tips for Making a Perfect Halloween Wreath

Making a Halloween wreath is easy with these tips and hints, which I’ve gathered from years of crafting.

  • Every wreath tutorial I have available on my site can totally be customized.
  • You can add your flair to any wreath by changing the spray paint color (how amazing would an orange or black wreath be!) or swapping out the ribbon, yarn, or fabric.
  • Don’t like skeleton hands? There are tons of other options! Check out this Mini Bones Wreath I made for a similar wreath.
  • If you live in a climate that easily melts hot glue, I highly suggest swapping it out for a stronger silicon glue. You don’t want your outdoor Halloween decorations to melt before the big day!
  • Customize the wreath by making it either larger or smaller.
  • Add some faux flowers, plastic spiders, eyeballs, and/or bugs to add a natural look.

More Halloween Wreath Tutorials

This DIY Halloween wreath is an easy, affordable way to decorate your front door for visitors and trick-or-treaters. With just a few supplies from the dollar store, you can create a modern and stylish wreath that will make your front door decoration stand out from the rest. So get creative and have fun!

A Beginner’s Guide to the Creality Falcon2 Pro Laser Engraver https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/a-beginners-guide-to-the-creality-falcon2-pro-laser-engraver/ https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/a-beginners-guide-to-the-creality-falcon2-pro-laser-engraver/#respond Fri, 30 Aug 2024 14:41:12 +0000 https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/?p=21846 Are you interested in finally purchasing your first laser engraving and cutting machine? Or, like me, are you looking to upgrade? I’ve had an entry-level laser machine for a couple of years, so when Creality reached out to me about testing their Falcon2 Pro, I was eager to try a machine with a bit more strength behind it. In this Creality Falcon2 Pro guide, I’ll discuss some of the features of the Falcon2 Pro, essential safety tips you should consider, materials that can be used, common mistakes, and my opinion about this machine.

A hand holding a wooden cutout with the words "Love Your Life" in front of a Creality Falcon2 Pro laser engraving machine.

Don’t forget to check out the “Love Your Life” SVG file at the end of this post to inspire your first project. Let’s get started!

Overview of the Creality Falcon2 Pro

If you’re unfamiliar with Creality, they are well-known in the 3D printer market. I’ve actually had my eye on one of their 3D Resin Printers for a while now!

In 2021, Creality released its first laser engraving and cutting machine and has been at the forefront of research and production ever since. The Falcon2 Pro, released earlier this year, is their first all-enclosed laser machine and has earned FDA Class 1 Safety Certification (unlike most desktop laser engravers.)

As mentioned above, I had previously been using a bit more of a beginner laser machine but was getting frustrated at the lack of materials I could cut. Creality sent me their Falcon2 Pro 40W, which includes a 1.6W laser module that is better for more detailed work. They also have a 22W version that is easier on your pocketbook if you don’t need as much power.

Getting Started: Setting Up the Falcon2 Pro

Unboxing the Falcon2 Pro was a bit of a process because the lid of the machine comes unassembled. Don’t worry, everything you need is in there!

An open cardboard box showing a neatly packed collection of electronic equipment and accessories secured in black foam compartments.

To finish the setup, follow the instructions in the manual, which include assembling the cover, attaching the laser module, and connecting the fan and light to power with the included screwdriver. For additional guidance, I found it helpful to watch the Creality Set Up Videos and videos from creators on YouTube.

After setting up, you’ll connect the Falcon2 Pro to a computer via the USB cord. You’ll then need to use an editing system to pull in files, edit them, and control the machine. I decided to use Lightburn because I had heard so many good things about it.

In LightBurn, you should fully perform several calibrations to optimize using the Falcon2 Pro. Once completed, the built-in camera allows easy design alignment and real-time preview.

Tips & Tricks for First-Time Users

  • Start Small: Before diving into a complex project, try a few test engravings on scrap material. Starting small will help you get comfortable with the machine and see how different settings affect the outcome.
  • Read the User’s Guide: It’s worth it. The manual will help you get the most out of your Falcon2 Pro. Also, make sure to check out the files on the flash drive.
  • Watch all the Videos: I watched all the official Creality videos and third-party creator videos I could. It helped me watch someone go through the motions when I couldn’t see enough detail in the illustrations.
  • Be Prepared: I’m not trying to give you a dire warning, but lasers are not toys and should be used with proper caution. Read the safety tips below to prevent improper use.

Essential Safety Tips for Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is incredibly fun, but safety should always come first. Here are some essential tips to keep in mind when using your Falcon2 Pro:

  1. Protect Your Eyes: Lasers can be harmful to your eyes. Creality knows this and has created a fully transparent and safe cover that filters out all the dangerous light. The machine won’t even work if it senses the lid is open, ensuring your safety at all times!
  2. Ensure Proper Ventilation: Laser engraving can produce fumes, especially when working with certain materials. The Falcon2 Pro has a built-in fan that can funnel air out of a nearby window or through an air purifier.
  3. Fire Safety: It’s rare, but there’s always a small risk of fire when working with lasers. Having a CO2 fire extinguisher or Fire Blanket within reach is a good idea. I love that the Falcon2 Pro has safety protocols that will completely shut down if a device detects a flame and includes an emergency stop button.
  4. Regular Maintenance: Keep your machine clean and check for any signs of wear. Being on top of maintenance ensures safety and keeps your engravings looking sharp. Creativity knew this and included an additional lens monitoring alarm that would go off if the laser lens needed cleaning.

Best Materials for the Falcon2 Pro

This wouldn’t be a Creality Falcon2 Pro guide if I didn’t also discuss the amazing materials the laser engraver could use. Here are some materials that work well with the Falcon2 Pro:

  • Basswood
  • Plywood
  • Bamboo
  • Cardboard
  • Leather
  • Acrylic (depending on color and transparency)
  • White Tile (painted black)
  • And more!

When choosing your material, consider the thickness and type. It’s always a good idea to test on a small piece first to see how the material reacts.

Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them

Even seasoned crafters can run into issues when starting with a new machine. Here are some common mistakes beginners make with laser engravers—and how to avoid them:

  1. Incorrect Material Settings: Each material has different settings for optimal results. Using the correct settings can lead to better cuts or engravings. Always check the recommended settings for your material and do a test run.
  2. Poor Material Selection: Not all materials are suitable for laser engraving. Avoid using anything coated or treated, as it can produce harmful fumes. Stick with raw, untreated materials whenever possible.
  3. Skipping Maintenance: Regular maintenance is key to keeping your Falcon2 Pro in good working order. Clean the laser lens and the work area after each use.
  4. Rushing the Process: Laser engraving takes time, especially for detailed designs. Be patient and let the machine do its work. Rushing can lead to mistakes and poor-quality results.

If you do run into issues, keep going! Troubleshooting is part of the learning process and once you’ve solved a problem, you’ll be even more confident in your skills.

A hand holds a wooden piece with the words "Love Your Life" intricately cut out.

Accessories and Add-ons

Depending on the projects you want to make, Creality has some great accessories that will make your job so much easier!

  • Rotary Attachment: This tool is a game-changer for engraving cylindrical objects like glasses, bottles, or rolling pins.
  • Ventilation System: If you’re working with materials that produce a lot of fumes, a ventilation system can cut back on smells and fumes.
  • Laser Modules: If you want to upgrade to a more robust laser, Creality also sells their Falcon2 40W Laser Module separately.

Comparisons with Other Laser Engravers

The laser market is huge and it can be hard to differentiate between your options. Here’s how the Falcon2 Pro compares to other machines in its price range:

  1. Affordability vs. Functionality: The Falcon2 Pro balances cost and features, making it a strong contender for beginners and experienced crafters. Creality also includes an integrated air assist that can be adjusted depending on the project—that wasn’t included in my previous machine!
  2. User-Friendly Design: Unlike other advanced laser engravers, which can be intimidating to set up and use, the Falcon2 Pro allows even the most inexperienced beginners to start their laser machine journey.
  3. Versatility: The Falcon2 Pro stands out for its ability to engrave and cut a wide range of materials. Some other machines might specialize in certain materials but lack the versatility that the Falcon2 Pro offers.
  4. Consumer Safety: For me, the safety features are the most important! The transparent, light-filtering lid protects the eyes while still allowing you to watch. Dual sensors and lid-off halts are all used to prevent laser leakage.

If you’re unsure which laser engraver to choose, the Falcon2 Pro is a solid option that won’t overwhelm you with unnecessary complexity while offering plenty of room to grow.

A Creality Falcon2 Pro laser cutter is on a table beneath a window with a "Create" sign. The machine has a transparent red cover and a control panel on the front.

My Personal Opinion of the Falcon2 Pro

As mentioned several times in this article, I have used a beginner laser cutter for the last few years but have recently felt like my project needs have begun to outgrow its capabilities. I’m excited about the possibilities for growth the Falcon2 Pro will give me, but there are a few differences between the two machines I want to bring up:

  • While not ridiculously complicated, the Falcon2 Pro setup process was more complex than my previous machine, which was assembled straight out of the box.
  • My previous machine included an operating program with cutting and engraving specifications for many popular materials. That said, I still had to troubleshoot these settings sometimes with a test material scrap, so you’re better off figuring out the settings yourself.
  • The Falcon2 Pro is significantly larger than my previous machine. If space is tight, that might be an issue. I’m super excited about the larger work area (400mm x 415mm), though!
  • If you want to use a computer to better control the machine, you’ll need to connect the Falcon 2 Pro to your computer with one of the included USB-C cables. You’ll also need another USB cable and USB port for the camera. I had to use a USB adapter for my laptop to accommodate both. There’s also the option of using the machine offline by inserting a TF card (also called micro SD card) in card slot found on the side of the machine.
  • Since there is no specific operating program, I’m having to learn LightBurn to import files and send them to the Falcon2 Pro. I create most of the files I cut in Adobe Illustrator, so learning this program has been on my to-do list. Based on my limited use of LightBurn so far, the program seems straightforward, and I quickly figured out how to use it.
  • Overall, after completing several cuts, I’ve been impressed with the power and precision of my Falcon2 Pro. The warnings & precautions make me feel much more confident as well. Sacrificing ease of use straight out of the box is worth it for the vast variety of projects I’ll be able to make now!

Fall Leaves Bucket List Coloring Page Free Printable https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/fall-leaves-bucket-list-coloring-page-free-printable/ https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/fall-leaves-bucket-list-coloring-page-free-printable/#respond Tue, 27 Aug 2024 13:34:05 +0000 https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/?p=21858 Fall is almost here, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this Fall Leaves Bucket List Coloring Page with you! Printing out and color is super easy as you complete the activities. Whether you color in one, five, or all of the leaves, this free printable is a colorful and fun way to document your seasonal fun!

A "Fall Bucket List" worksheet with leaves to color and activities to complete. It's beside a cup of coffee on a white tray, a candle, a lace cloth, and a peach background.

Fall Bucket List

I’ve always loved bucket lists, even though they’ve gotten a bad rap in the last few years. Seasonal bucket lists remind me to enjoy all that the season has to offer before it’s all gone. The point isn’t to color in every activity (that sounds exhausting!) but to document the ones you get to.

One of my favorite things about this Fall Leaves Bucket List Coloring Page is that you and your child can look back and remember all the good times we had at the end of the season. Even if just one leaf is colored in, the memories of that activity will last a lifetime.

How to Use the Fall Bucket List

Using this free printable is super easy! After downloading it from my Tried & True Creative Library, you can print the coloring page onto either standard printer paper or thicker cardstock. (Check out my favorite printer!) The design features cascading fall leaves with different fall activities listed inside them. Once the activity has been completed, the corresponding leaf can be colored in.

If you haven’t signed up for access to the T&T Creative Library, it’s quick and easy to do! Just enter your information below, and a password will be sent to give you access to this and all of my other files.

Fall Bucket List Activities

Some of the activities included on the Fall Bucket List Coloring Page are:

  • Go apple picking
  • Bake a pumpkin pie
  • Visit a corn maze
  • Go on a hayride
  • Have a bonfire
  • Collect colorful leaves
  • Drink hot apple cider
  • Go on a nature hike

I wanted to include big and small fall activities in this free printable because we know that sometimes, the smallest moments are the most precious!

Why I Designed This Printable

As much as I love the fall season, it’s still really easy to get bogged down with work, and before I know it, the entire season has passed. Bucket lists are a great physical reminder to put down the work or the phone and start making memories. Plus, my kids love to color in the leaves as the activities are completed!

And remember, the point of this printable isn’t to exhaust yourself by trying to color in all the leaves. Color in the activities you complete; don’t color the ones you don’t. The memories will be made regardless of how completed this printable is!

If you’re a fan of bucket lists, I’ve got even more for you:
